James Island / Kunta Kinteh Island

The old fort of James /  St Andrew’s Island (re-named to Kunta Kinteh Island) is an Island in the Gambia River. The Island is about 30km upstream on the Gambia river, and is home to the ruins which once belonged to the colonial Britain. This was the last bit of African soil that many slaves saw before being transported in the bowels of transatlantic slave ships to the Americas.

Lazy Day Boat Cruise

Take a tour of Africa’s Smiling Coast on our boat excursion. Hop on our lovely upper deck boat with amenities such as a toilet, life jackets, and first aid. Enjoy tea or coffee with Gambian bread and butter. Sail through the mangroves and take in the beautiful scenery. Swim, sunbathe, dance, and even fish with our equipment. Lunch will be served as we cruise on the river Gambia, followed by a dessert.

Georgetown (Janjanbureh)

This is a two day one night excursion that will take you to the inland of the country to experience the real and typical Gambian atmosphere. The route is a two way excursion either cross with the ferry from Banjul to Barra or drive through the trans-Gambia highway.

Banjul City Tour

Take a half-day tour of Banjul, the capital of Gambia. Visit the Arch 22 July to see the colonial city and learn about its history. Additionally, go to the National Museum, Albert Market, and Craft Market to observe how locals shop and view handmade items. You can window-shop for free.
