This is a half-day tour that will give you an insight into the country’s capital. The pick-up time is 10:00 from your respective hotel or place of residence, and it ends around 13:30. The trip will take you around the capital city of The Gambia known as Banjul. Our first stop will be at The Arch 22 July, the country’s identity, where you will have a magnificent view of the colonial city. You will also be briefed on the history of colonialism to date.
We will then proceed to visit the National Museum of The Gambia and the Albert Market to see and learn how our local Gambian natives go about their daily shopping. Finally, we will walk through the craft market, which is within the Albert Market, to have a look at the locally handmade items. You will also have an opportunity for some window shopping; touching and looking around won’t cost you anything.
